Sometimes, we can’t go back to doing things the way we did them.
Like enjoying a relaxing Sunday afternoon watching tv , or reading a book without having to re read every paragraph twice or thrice.
That’s because what we’re actually looking for, is peace of mind.
Don’t you have those days when after you’ve started to work, all you think about all week is the weekend, and the minute the weekend starts, to the time its Monday morning, nothing goes as planned?
Nothing happens like before. No sleeping till 10.30 am, no waking up feeling relaxed, no peaceful feeling throughout the two days?
After wanting the same peace as before on every weekend for 7 months and getting none of it, I realized that sometimes, you’ve first got to heal.
You’ve got to come to terms with how things are. See things for what they really are. And be okay with it.
You’re so tired of running and wanting everything to be the same and wanting peace that you forget that you first need to heal.
I don’t know the correct formula to healing, but I do know that when I genuinely tried to tell myself that it’s okay, it’s okay to have a bad day, it’s okay to be alone, I actually stopped thinking for once : )
I healed : )
You need to if you’ve got to go back to trying, being there for people, working at a place you don’t like.
And sometimes when you let people in, inside your bubble, the help you take a step closer to healing.
They help you be fine.
Smoking, drinking and doping is temporary.
It might just help
